Back in 2018 we had a thread on the " best hard floor tool of all time"
Putting aside any favorite vintage hard floor tool, I really do believe this is the best hard floor tool in production that can be adapted to fit most vacuum cleaners. SEBO and Lindhaus have some honorable mentions but they use a proprietary fitting. I give you the Wessel-Werk RD285 CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacuumdevil's LINK |

The RD285 is a great tool, it's hard to find though. The only way I know of to get it is from Centec Systems, they call it the Wave tool and I think it's the same one. Mike CLICK HERE TO GO TO n0oxy's LINK |

@n0oxy It's pretty easy to find I have links to the tools on Amazon in the description of the video. Also it's available from essco, steel City& from TTI as well. That Wave tool judging by the color of the squeegees looks like the knockoff version. There's a similar tool that Henry has available that drags at squeegee is on the ground and is almost unusable.

I have the Centec version. I always thought it was a rebranded original. If it is a knock off version, it cleans just as well as the actual RD285 I think. Mike |

@Mike811 I've been meaning to test the "Twinner nozzle" it's not available from any wholesale distributor here in the US but I do occasionally see them on eBay or Amazon I'll have to do a video on that one day. It really concerns me that that nozzle has no wheels and only felt strips which would wear down pretty fast in my household. Also the air gets divided into two Chambers which could cause some lower powered portable vacuums to struggle.

I prefer a bare floor tool with no wheels. It's easier to slide the brush sideways if you need to squeeze it into tight spaces. My favourite wheel-less bare floor tools are the Hoover Futura/Dimension brush (no perimeter bristle strips to block intake on the front AND backstroke), the Shark bare floor tool with disposable mop pads, and the Tacony tool with the washable mop pad.

I have two favorites both from modern Hoover, though the one looks just like the above, it was made by Wessel-werk, maybe even the one with my Hoover/Maytag of ten years ago was too. That one has the wheels and the brush teeth on front. Different but both work well. The Miele Parquet I have resembles that one a lot

Yep I have seen the video👍 I have used Twinner with my Shark Rocket stick vac and it doesn't work too well at all. It needs more suction/airflow to work like it's designed to work. Twinner comes with adapter so it fits to 35 and 32mm pipes. Here is picture of those pads what can be replaced.
