I've recently acquired another Miracle Mate, mostly because I wanted the edge lift power nozzle. I have seen other collectors mention that you should use genuine closed top bags with them so that the machine doesn't leak. So I thought I'd look into this. Now I will say that neither bag is clean, and i'm not about to order genuine MM bags they're rather pricey a 10 pack with exhaust filters runs about $42,
What is in the MM bag appears to be mostly gritty material so I can't imagine it's too plugged up.

So based off my observations. You're better off using V.A.C. tristar hepa bags. Both the suction and the airflow were stronger with them. The only advantage of the genuine MM bag is that they're closed top so they're a little easier and cleaner to change.

I bought veva type c bags similar to Kenmore. There non HEPA but thick bags.
I'm going to tape a 1.5" PVC with a 45 degree bend. It's 1.5 inches long.
I'm putting on my c9 and my Patriot.
I know Patriots it may work. The airstorm bags were horrible. I used vac HEPA bags still and it worked great but still a little bit of dust left in grey bag.
I'm trying type c to see if it stops it.
