Well, info is ready for The VCCC convention , this summer, in Atlanta Georgia.
Kenny Loveland has all of the important info ready . He'll be contacting you as well as having info on the website.
It's going to be a great convention, no doubt. Ken has been working very hard lining up great activities, etc.
So, it will come faster than you think.

I can't wait to see the

Coca Cola Museum. I always had a fondness for all things Coca Cola.

June 11-13. Some folks get there the day before.
I'll be driving this year.

"I'll be driving--"

Anyone driving from the northeast to Atlanta would be welcome to make the easy detour to east TN to see my vac store clean out in person, pick and choose needed/wanted items and save packing/shipping charges.Things are starting to go out but with this much it will take most of 2020.

There's an idea

How much of a detour, do you guess?

It might be fun,

if invited, to possibly select some items.

"how much of a detour--"

I am within 20 miles of the intersection of I-81 & I-26 just south of Bristol TN and east of Johnson City TN.An easy trip for any in north east or north central US on way to Atlanta.
"if invited"--
Anyone interested in vintage/antique vacs and parts is welcome to call or visit.I am just starting to sort, sell and scrap. As I have said my old building WILL BE EMPTY this year!

There will be lots of info coming up

gottahaveahoove's profile picture
very soon.
There will be great things to do.
I hope to see so many of our members at the convention.
With the dates already decided, it give us all plenty of time to get time off and secure airline tickets.
Getting ready........................................

More details on the 2020 convention

Below are some more details on this year’s Vacuum Cleaner Collectors club convention. I've posted this information to the club’s Facebook page and various vacuum groups on Facebook. I also feel like it should be posted here. We still have members who are not on Facebook and Vacuumland is still the best way to reach a broad audience. Collectors on Facebook are so segregated with all the different vacuum groups and some Facebook groups even have the same name as our club. It can get confusing. Again, thank you Robert for allowing us to continue to post here.

The Vacuum Cleaners Collectors Club is hosting our annual convention in Atlanta Georgia this year June 11th through June 13th. Please check our Facebook page or website for more details. We are working on a schedule of events and have quite a few things planned such as visiting the Coca Cola museum.

Thanks for posting all of that, Kenny

It looks like another fun-filled event. It will be great to see everyone again, as well as some new faces.

Sure wish I could go. If I did not have to come back here to live I would have stayed with Jimmy (rugsucker) and worked in his shop. I would have went to most of the conventions.

I tried to have a get together with some collectors here but they think driving 50 miles is too far. I never really hear or read about collectors here ever meeting up. They might but I never hear about it.

I gave a few machines to a collector in Plymouth hoping we would stay in touch but just as I thought I never hear from him. Good youtube channel but never emails or calls. So unfortunately I lost interest in collecting over the years and have sold off all my machines except for a Hoover 375.

I hope everyone has a great time.

"In Memoriam" book.
BUT.... on the good side, we just got 2 more new members. I believe we're up to 70 !!!!!!!!
Great news.

Hard to believe it will be 'upon us' soon

gottahaveahoove's profile picture
Even harder to believe that the NEXT one will be here in my 'neck of the woods'. I'm already slowly, gradually getting things ready fro that one.
Tom Anderson has graciously offered to come to Pittston a few days in advance, to help me. Oh, the fun times we'll have.
But, first. ATLANTA!!!!!!!!
