Saw an issue arise on Friday with my Miele U1 vacuum. I was going about vacuuming and out of the blue the vacuum power cut out. Come to find out there must be an issue where the cord goes into the handle. Is there a way to fix the connection to the handle. The cord is practically brand new on a 7 months old vacuum. Don't want to buy a whole handle assembly. Any Info is appreciated

Is the U1 7 months old, or you bought a used one 7 months ago? If new, wouldn't that be a warranty item?

Was hoping for an update that should be covered under the warranty if you bought it 7 months ago.

You do need to change the handle and cord as a whole assembly on that machine.
