Love that 562, where did you find it?

Actually picked it up just today in Stanford, KY. It was a LetGo find. It came with some of the cleaning tools, the Miracle Head, the Handi-Waxer, and the Crystallator.

I saw that one. Nice score, especially with the white cord!

Adin,

That's a cool Classic 1CR, but with the Heritage II handle fork! I wish you the best of luck finding an original Classic 1CR handle fork.

Here is my Classic 1CR which is now 100 percent externally original.

Cool! I do like the woodgrain handle. I actually bought that one off of Vacuumland from texaskirbyguy's "Lots of vintage Kirbys and parts" thread. It was cheaper to ship without the handle, so I opted for that. I do want to find the original handle though.

I like the collection. You can buy the sticker and be close to original.

Thanks! The only issue with your idea is that the sticker would be too short to completely fill the spot for the sticker on the handle.

Hmm, I have a spare handle middle from a 1cr parts machine. The sticker is not in great shape but can be replaced. The cord hook is also on the other side. If you want it, its yours as I have no use for it. I also have a bojack Omega grip that fits it.

Your right I forgot the heritage had the bag attach to the handle. That would make
D80 only comparable with d80
Cr1 comparable with cb1 cb2 and cb3.
Hd, hd 84, hd turbo, hd legend , hd 2
Hd2 legend 2 may be different with first magnet and BPI sensor turns green when brush spins. It may also have a few traits of g series vacuum.
I do believe a cb1 would fit d80 sticker. Meaning somehow you could Bojack a ds80.
You get cb1 put d80 sticker on and both power cord hooks. Switch handle then get the back and paint it green. Which would be cool.

I have a classic entire vacuum setup one owner. It even has the receipts and service records. The freaking cool thread is stripped and the area from bottom of the coil to the carbon brush motor housing is left. The screw even is half gone. I want to keep the shell so I have to save housing. I'm going to get a lot g self tapping screw to get it out.

If I was going to buy a handle, I'd just buy a Classic handle. Texaskirbyguy did send me the original grip, so all I need is the fork. Maybe my local Kirby guy has one...

I'm fine with an Omega fork. It looks very similar.
