Was wondering how many of you have or are familiar with AURA Roboclean Vacuums?
I got one I'll be doing an up-and-coming video on there's not a lot of information about how they're sold, how much they sell for,ETC

If you're familiar with it I would love to hear from you on this unusual water vacuum.

This vacuum is trying to mimic the current Rainbow model. This one has a CLICKER!!!A remote-A remote control for a vacuum is sort of strange. The two piece water bin might be a problem if the user doesn't assemble it right. No narration at all during the film so I don't know who makes it,sells it,or what. The program needs to be narrated and closed captioned in English to a US prospects.Sounds like it could be a competent machine.

The link solves some of the mystery-but still does not indicate where you buy it from or get a demo.It appears to be a DTD vacuum.

@tolivac don't worry I'll be doing a full Room video review on this machine in English/New Mexican English. It's been around quite a few years before the new rainbow so I would suggest that rainbow maybe looked at the market as a whole and made some changes?

My understanding is that they're sold door-to-door again not a lot out there on this particular machine.

I have one

I have one of these, bought it directly from the company, though I can't seem to find the United States page anymore. It's a decent machine. It has a remote control that attaches to the hose to control things such as the speed and turning the power nozzle on and off. If you want something similar I would get the Quantum. I'm pretty sure it uses the same suction motor, and the power nozzle is definitely the same, it uses the Wessel-Werk 340.

@n0oxy Of course you do 🙂 wonderful to hear from you as always.
Do you remember what it sold for?
I have one currently in my possession, I'm doing a video on It. I just want to get as much information about it to put in the video.
Anything noteworthy you would add about it?

Putting a robot reference into the name of an old fashioned, out-dated vacuum concept it just putting lipstick on the pig.

Water vacuum aren't effective filters, aren't safe to use, are difficult and impractical to maintain, and if not maintained and grow massive mold spores.

more info on roboclean

Alex, I think I paid around $1200 for it, and that was factory direct, not going through a distributor. I got it since I'm a collector, but for most people that would be overpriced. The one unique thing that it does is has the ability to produce negative ions while you vacuum which is supposed to clean the air. It has the same separator as the Quantum and the Sirena and I think it's also the same motor. The Ritello also uses this motor and separator.
I think water vacuums do work but you need to make sure you clean the basin after you are done and don't store the motor unit on the basin until it's completely dry. This is the only kind of bagless vacuum I would use.
If someone wants a water vacuum, I would suggest the Sirena or the Quantum. They will work just as well as the more expensive water based vacuums and are much cheaper.
The one thing I have noticed about every water vacuum, when it comes to raw cleaning power, they are far behind other vacuums. They have about as much suction and airflow as canisters from the 1970's. They will still clean well but if you want the most cleaning power, a water vacuum is not for you.

The motor on that machine is VERY noisy at high speed-almost sounds like a fan is out of balance or the motor itself.Don't like "window shade" cordwinders on a high end vacuum as this would be.And should have a longer cord.

motor definitely doesn't sound right

I agree with Tolivac, the motor on mine is much more pleasant sounding, it doesn't have that loud vibration sound, not sure how old that unit is but it definitely sounds like the motor is nearing the end of its life.

@tolivac @n0oxy I agree there's definitely something going on in the motor.
If you noticed the separator nut in the video looked out of shape.

The machine is not mine, otherwise I would take it apart and see what I could do.

I couldn't agree more the cord situation is just plain wrong.

Looking for a replacement Water Separator for Roboclean Aura

I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

I have a Roboclean Aura vacuum cleaner and I'm having a very difficult time finding a replacement water separator for it. I saw it was mentioned it uses the same water separator as a couple of other models. Can anyone possibly provide a link where I can order the replacement/alternate water separator? I'd be most grateful, my wife and I love this vacuum and hope to get many more years of usage out of it. I attached a photo of the water separator that I found online, not sure if it might help as well.

I tried the Sirena S10NA from here: www.ezvacuum.com/sirena-s... unfortunately the center hole is too small for the spindle to fit through it.

@jsfoster75 You need to get the part directly from the company. I got one from mine in my video directly from the company at the trade show when I was in Vegas.

@vacuumdevil I've contacted them multiple times but their reply time is horrendous... Do you have any contact info for the person you bought yours from?

Well, I'm now the proud owner of 2 Water Separators that I had 3D printed at a local machine shop... Total cost for 2 - $60. Would have cost nearly $100 for 1 to be shipped from another country and run the risk of it never arriving...

I'll report back after testing these to make sure they function like the original.

that's pretty freaking cool! This made me look up 3D printing videos on Youtube. I've heard of them, but never looked into them. I was blown away by the videos I saw. This is like a perfect copy of your separator. I wonder though, they couldn't match the original color? Can we see a pic of it on the roboclean?

I'm sure he could have, but since it was just for the machine to work, I didn't care about the color. I'll try to get a photo of it later tonight and post it.
