It came to me as just as a motor........Everything got replaced on this, except the motor guts...all new plastic, nos bag, fan, bearings, brushes, brushroll and decals.

That is top-notch work to say the least - looks just like it came out of the box for the first time.
SUPER polishing job!!
There is something to be said about that classy rosewood brown against a chrome finish...

I like the style of the Omega. I like the bag it looks good. Polish job is superb as well.
You should show a pic of the belt is on belt is off on the belt lifter.

Excellent work there.
I had to use an Omega in a church, decades ago.
Yours look "out of the box new".

Thanks

Thanks for the compliments guys! I am working on my Tradition right now, doing the same thing to it. It has had a hard life, but was never completely converted from the headlight speed to the case mounted one which makes it a little unique. I named it Bojack because of the bag. It has a aftermarket bag on it but I have a new one for it. Rob actually started the name before I bought it so it has stuck, LOL. Another Plano rescue!! LOL

Blaze,

Whichever dealer did not perform the full conversion on that one Tradition of yours... whoever worked on it could have been fired. I know, because whoever owned that machine at the time it was converted was probably not happy with the result.

Ben,
This was probably an owner-made mod. A legit shop would most likely not take the liability risk of bypassing the safety switch like what was done on Blaze's machine.

The Omega looks great!

I like the sound of the metal fan but the newer fan from Kirby does not break as easily! Excellent work!

safety switch bypass

rivstg1's profile picture
that person who owned it might have requested the switch bypassed, I did that on one of my Traditions , intentionally.not worried one iota of 'extra wear' on the brushes....i'm a collector....and it'll never be used as a daily anyway.
