Yep, that's right I painted another one. I love to look for those that need a paint job. Is it a 1964 Convertible Special 34, NOPE I already showed you that one, it is a 1964 Convertible Special 341 shipped to me all the way from Canada ( thanks Doug Smith!!!)In the back ground you can also see my painted 67 that I showed a while back. My next project is a Convertible 35 and a hood for a 65 that was missing the hood. I laser matched the paint on these. Enjoy. |

Hey Kyle, I use a can of air. If you go into a paint store and look you will find a can of air with a little tube and a glass jar. You mix the paint (semi gloss metal) 4oz with 1oz. of water. There is another paint that will work that you dilute with 1 oz. of mineral spirits with 4 oz. of water. MAKE SURE you ask what one it is when you buy it before you take it home and start diluting!!! I found this out the hard way. The brand of air sprayer that I use is Preval. I got the paint laser matched at Wal-mart. I also use the same paint on the plastic hood if I have a white replacment hood that needs to be painted, like on the 67. |

You continue to amaze me with your painting talents...they look great! Remember all those trashed convertibles we saw at the one vac shop I took you to? Guess we'll have to go back when you come back for a visit...I'm sure they'll still be there knowing the owner! Rick |
