Some may have parties to attend tonight, etc.
Here's wishing you all a very safe, happy, healthy 2020.
May you all enjoy your vacuums. I always start the year doing things I want to do all year long. So, I'll run a Hoover.
So, put a fresh bag (genuine) in your vacuums. Be sure to have the correct/matching floor tools with all of your machines.May your airflow be strong. May your your belts work correctly. And, please.... make all of your canister vacuums have the correct floor brushes.
Start the year off right, free from any type of clogged tubes, belching dust, etc.
May you a have staircase full of your favorite vacuums.
But, hold on to the banister.
John, (to be clear, Long), Vice pres, VCCC

2020 almost feels like something out of the twilight zone. It sounds so futuristic. It’s almost here.

Happy New Year!

Hoping for a new and improved year-to-come, and may dozens of old Kirbys get new homes.

Wishing everyone a safe 'n' sane New Year!

We will be chilling out with some old DJ trance mixes from Judge Jules and Paul Van Dyke. My GF and I had rung in 2000 with these exact recordings, so time to go back in time a couple decades, to the year my G6 2000 Special Edition was made!

I was at Times Square in 1989... it was crazy.
One only needs to do that once.

Ever hear of the story that whatever you do on New Year's... you'll do all year.
I should make a bank deposit!

I remember your mom Jason. She was so nice to me. She brought you to your first mini meet in St. Louis. That was a long time ago. You were so proud of your Kirby. I thought it was great of your parents to bring you all the Way, and to be so involved with the old VCCC. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Caligula was the cat sleeping on the chair. He was the only mascot the V.C.C.C. ever had.

I will add your mom to my nightly prayers.

Wow I am so sorry for your loss. I had to reread the email from Christmas.
I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
I lost my mom last November. It's like Mike Tyson gives you a head shot.
I find comfort in knowing that there no longer in pain. There happy and with family.
It is not easy and it's not meant to be. I only know you through here.
I am close to a mirror image of my mom. If you are similar to yours I know she's a class act great person. Again my condolences.
Les

She was a classy lady. May she rest in peace.

You are always invited to the Vacuum Museum. It's open all year round. And if you want to come to the Vacuum Cleaner Collectors Convention, like you have in the past, it's the third weekend in May. We always had so much fun. We open the full Museum to all our friends for three days of fun.

Keep strong, and we will keep in touch!

Very sorry to hear this.
Now that it's mentioned my grandmother died on 1-1 but after a good and long life.
I met you and talked with your dad the vet about dogs and fleas in Penn.In above picture you both look like movie stars who could join G Kelley 'Singing in the Rain".I'm sure you have great memories.
Again,very sorry.
Jimmy

I really miss her, but at the same time I'm also free to make trips to places. the in home nurses are kinda like family to me now and one of them even said she'd like to take me a fan collector convention so why not a vacuum collector convention? thanks everyone for the kindness. mom and me really appreciate it.
and Tom, I promise not to wear my Darth Vader costume again to one of the meetings. I know it was a huge embarrassment to you and everyone else

I have pictures from the old VCCC newsletter with you in that costume. Now, with the advent of the new Star Wars movie, wearing it again might be FUN.

Do you have any of the VCCC newletters from that time? It was the first St. Louis convention. When I see you I'll get them out. Memories - light the corners of my mind.
