stocking stuffer

Look what I found in my stocking yesterday.

A 1987 Electrolux Marquis in surprisingly good condition.

I even had time to take it apart and wash some parts, let them dry, and put it back together.  And I took pictures of the reassembly.

As is typical on these, some of the plastic parts have discolored.  I'm going to try a process that is supposed to restore them.

Even though the original hose is also in decent shape, I'm getting a new flexible vinyl one with a switch on the handle.

.

.

I hope everyone's having a Happy Holiday and I wish everyone to find the vacuum cleaners of their dreams this year.

That's more like a bucket list vacuum. Congrats on the addition.
