Found this in my grandmother’s basement. Have no clue what it could be. It’s very heavy, most likely cast iron, and it says S.C. Johnson on the top. Possibly an old wax applicator? What’s weird is that the handle only pivots from side to side, not back and forth. It also appears to have been painted a brass color at some point.

Its a wax applicator/ scrubber. Here are pics of some very similar ones (different handle fork) that say wax on it. The cast part might be an add on weight seeing how it sits on the brush.
