I love how he threw the date of 1915 in there.

That's a Royal Super. It was made after 1924. There's nothing special about it.

But Good Luck with finding a fool and his money......

I would think that anyone who would be interested in owning this would also be unwilling to pay that much. Let’s watch and see...

Makes noise on start-for that price the machine should be shiny new-in the orig box undamaged, and come with its attachments, and work perfect.Another EBay seller that has been huffing too much vacuum dust!

They got the 1915-1924 date off the patent tag.

"Makes a bit of noise when starting up (maybe to fill up the bag)"

I have never heard this before used to describe a vacuum. I think what they mean is "has 95 year old grease and oil in it and the motor slowly files itself away from friction until the grease warms up"

It's from southern California...nuff said.

I can tell by looking at the rest of their auctions and how much variety it has that they just go to Goodwill and buy stuff for $10-$15 and then put it on eBay for $60+

They also have a Kenmore canister vac they wanna get $120 for.

My favorite auction of theirs is this vintage laptop battery for $130.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB-SEALED-IBM-...

It's never been used or charged for 23 years, so it's going to be 100% dead and not useable right out of the box. Not even worth $5.
