Or adononized metal. He had 2 gold maybe 3. There probably dealer sells in region.
Kirby had or has a plant in Plano Texas. That would mean alot of Kirby's circulated through the area. It also meant brand loyalty as if you knew a worker or worked there etc you buy there again.
Nice vacuum I had an opportunity to 3 years ago for a gold heritage but I got my 505. The gold vacuums I'd take a tradition heritage 2 g4 g-6 . Order of p4eferencrs.
I'll probably never get one but it's golden.
Les

Les,

Yes, Kirby does operate a plant in TX known as "Kirby West" in Andrews, which is about a six hours' drive west from Plano.

History

The lady that started the Kirby Distributorship in Plano Texas in 1968 won 2 trophy kirbys for Sales accomplishments, One was this one and the other was The G5 that the guy had. He bought the business from her in 2008 and just retired and his Final Day there is this Saturday.

Here is a comparison of the Gold Trophy Heritage II and a regular one. Supposedly this gold one has never been used

Wow - that one sure looks familiar! :o) Glad it arrived safely from the Plano shop. I kinda regret not getting it due to its stunning looks, but it would be hard for me to have it and not be able to use it.
They look great against that nice walnut cabinet in reply 6!
