Has anyone used the aluminum acid cleaner on kirbys to clean the aluminum up before polishing? |

If you use hydrochloric on aluminum, the hydrochloric acid will dissolve the aluminum and you end up with an aluminum sol that is the basis for catalyst, as in the catalyst in your catalytic convertor.
So depending on what type of acid it is you can have some fun and educational scientific experiments. |
