There are loads of them. Sometimes, I get multiples, and maybe use one.

Nice! I like those blue Windtunnels, probably one of my favorite models of them.

There's a common frustration amongst collectors

that we weren't the first owner of our prized pieces, and knowing how much better they would have fared over the long haul. The flip side of that coin is the satisfaction one gets of bringing one of these treasures back to their former glory.I don't kick myself for not buying a 20's Hoover/Eureka etc vac back in the day because I wasn't around then. I do wish I hadn't passed on a few from the last 20 yrs merely because they were plastic. Assuming they were junk. My red Hoover WindTunnel Deluxe is an example of one I could have had new but resisted and now... So when a good neighbor passed away and his spoiled little brats ooops sorry, his family came to sort through his belongings, his Windtunnel was tossed on to the heap in the rented dumpster. I quickly walked over for final goodbyes was told that the company was coming in the morning to pick up the dumpster. He said your welcome to anything in the dumpster but the furniture in the house was included in the sale. I said "oh maybe, I really don't have any room," he said ok whatever, there's a lock," and I said I'm gonna go finish my dinner and I'll come lock it up for you" Waved them off, bye bye, waited about 15 minutes then went back to claim my prize...and then some! I'd give the Hoov about a 9 out of 10.Heavy and on the loud side it sure does a good job! Being a 'first responder' has it's moments!! So many of your vacuums look like you just pulled them from their original boxes. Admire your 'stairway to heaven' too!
