Hey guys!
Well, Today I found on ebay an Electrolux Super J and a Kirby Heritage II, these two are complete and in very good condition.
Now, the problem is that I like very much this two and I don't know as to choose!!
Anyone can help me please??

Thanks.

My Vote:

Would depend on what you're looking for. Will this be a daily driver?

If so, I'd go for the Lux. Parts and service are still very easy to come by, and cheap, so the Lux would be the most bang for the buck. The Kirby is more expensive to repair and maintain in really primo collector condition.

Go for the Kirby.

It cleans better.Well built! Not much to go wrong with it.
Very versitile!! Cleans up lovely!! Easy to use!!
Parts easy to get hold of and cheaper off ebay if you need them so its not really more expensive at all.

Need I say more;-))

Both r great machines

Depends on your vac use & preference
but looking at your profile
You seem to have alot of uprights
you say you like luxes but don't list one

I;d say go for the lux

its timeless & a good vac to have around for doing the muscle work in those hard to reach areas without taking heads off the Kirby.

I find the uprights very limiting in my small apt
but they are better at grooming so I have them.
I like the small head kirbys better
but I don't like shakeouts
so I get stuck in that gray area as I need filtration
or I;'m just blowing the fine powder from the bird into my face & end up coughing

I'd say... go for the Lux.. you already have a Kirby in your collection, besides... another Kirby Heritage will show up at some time or another. Camelotshadow is right, you have alot of uprights and you also have electrolux listed as one of your favorite brands. Go for the Lux.. if it's one of your favorite brands, it will mean more to you...
