I don't see much talk about the sebo k3 canister on here.
It's a wonderful compact canister that was supposed to be have been retired by now.
Sebo keeps producing it as a "budget option" . It's so quirky and fun I figured it would be up every collectors alley.

These are really nice canisters, I consider these as upgrades over the C3.1 models.

I'm getting into cannisters as I have had electrolux oxygen 3, riccar 1500p, Patriot and compacts.
This is a vacuum is buy. I don't think I'd be a fan of the power nozzle he showed. I'd need a more aggressive brush roll. The filters and bags are easy to access.
Nice thanks for the video.

Have the Sebo K canister in red like what is shown.Mine was sold as a special deal from the vac shop in Greenville who is a Meile and Sebo dealer. The K vacuums didn't sell here-bought their sample machine-without the hose hence the good deal.A hose from another Sebo machine works fine.also didn't have the wand and floor tools.Don't really like the combo furniture tool and crevice tool-chokes the airflow from this powerful small canister. This machine was intended for someone who has an upright for carpets and needs a basic suction only machine for above floor cleaning or bare floors.

Brushrolls for Sebo canister powernozzles-go to a Sebo dealer and he can show you the brush options for Sebo powerheads-and replacing them just takes moments!!!Just twist off the end cap on the nozzle-twist off the brushroll and twist in another one. Then put the cap back on-you are ready to go again! This is also used on Sebo uprights.

I like the idea of the K3. In fact, I almost bought one instead of the X7.

The only thing which I don’t like about it is the “suspect” exhaust filter. It seems to be either a) not very well sealed, and/or b) not very effective. I see vacuums (below) which have staining from the carbon brush emissions on the air belt. Do you see this on vacs which come into your store? What are your thoughts?

K series and E series

The E series is the newest Sebo series of canisters and some have thought that it will eventually replace the K series. The D4 is Sebo's full size canister, I think it's a bit larger than the K series or E series. Sebo vacuums are awesome, I consider Sebo to be my favorite portable vacuum brand that is currently made.

@broomvac I really don't have any problem with the filtration of the K series.

But it definitely is no Nilfisk on terms of filtration.
I usually see that are built pretty beat up but I can't say I see carbon dust on the air belt. They hardly come in for service so I'm basing this on much lower numbers than I normally would have for a sample size.

In my opinion Sebo ET-1 powerhead has quite stiff bristles in the brushroll with good agitation.
Of course there is powerheads with stiffer bristle brushrolls, but they tend to eat a lot of carpet fibers.
But this is just my opinion.

Thanks for the info. It would make sense high quality vacuum power nozzle wouldn't be it's downfall. I have compact c9 compact çxl power nozzle. I have used rainbow platinum meh, and wessell werk 360 I use on rainbow and çxl. I have a Patriot with I'm pretty sure a weasel werk power nozzle. The Patriot if you get rugs tangled you have to turn off vacuum and reset. I also had a riccar 1500 p.
Wessell werk is my choice.
Wood floors bedrooms carpet and a 100 lb golden lab indoor pet who is potty trained.
The wessell werk I use every where dog hair is.
This vacuum is a little high on price but it seems much better than any canister I've used. I wouldn't compare compact or TriStar çxl to this.
This just looks like a really great vacuum. If I can get vacuums sold I may pick me up one. Thanks for info nice to learn about vacs I'm not knowledge about.

If you remove the exhaust filter cover while the vacuum is on, you'll be able to feel the air leaking there. It isn't surely a sealed system.
I've had 4 K1s and they all had airbelts covered in carbon.
E1 works much better in that case as its exhaust fitler has a seal around it.
