Hello everyone while I don't post on here that often I just thought I would share that I am going to have my first mini meet on Dec 7 with some of my vac friends it is going to be so much fun. I will keep everyone updated with photos and cannot wait to share. I might not have a lot of cleaners but I am proud of what I have. I am going to make Chicken and Dumplings from scratch for the meet and some nice desserts. It is going to be such a nice Holiday themed vacuum get together. :)

I'm very excited to see your house when we the 'VCCC' has our convention in Pennsylvania in 2021! I'm sure your mini meet will be a success! Looking forward to the pictures. Kenny

His house is very cute

Right now, it's ready for "Santa".
When the convention is in Scranton, I THINK we're doing dinner at my house on Fri p.m., lunch at Sam's on Sat afternoon. It's a way off, but, I'm trying to line up a lot to do. There are 4 museums nearby. I'd love to arrange something along those lines, too.
But.... Sam's mini meet will be loads of fun, indeed. Lots of pics, no doubt. I'm making home made eggnog this time.

For instance,

For train enthusiasts, we have The Steamtown National Park..museum, the Trolley Museum, The Everhart Museum of Art and Science, The Anthracite Coal Mine Tour.. museum, and, The Houdini Museum. Hopefully, we can arrange a group rate for the club for at least one of these.

Are you going to be making milkshakes for the mini meet?

Well, I COULD!

gottahaveahoove's profile picture
I know Sam has a blender. But, I'd prefer to use a Hoover blender.
At my mini meets, I've made milkshakes (malts, to be exact), using a Hoover one. Some of my friends had never tasted a malt before. I've also made New Your egg creams. hmmmmmmmmmmmm wait for it.................

Sam's 'first' mini meet was a triumph, indeed

gottahaveahoove's profile picture
There were 9 people in attendance. I'm sure pics will be posted. The house was beautiful. The food was delicious, The friendship, sharing, enjoying vacuums was perfect.
Congrats, Sam, on your first mini meet.
Thanks, so much!
John

I believe there were...

10 with the added guest from chris. It was absolutely amazing! Sam cooked a wonderful meal (chicken and dumplings) with a fresh and wonderful antipasto, John the cake (had it this morning) was very delightful, egg nog was really creamy and good, and the iced tea, who could forget about that?! It was as good as it always is. I always look forward to seeing everyone, and hate leaving because the company is always great. Sam It was very successful, thank you for everything, hospitality, food, comfort and a good environment. Hopefully there are many more!
I’ll include a couple of the pics that I managed to get.

What a great picture of Joe enjoying his Hoover Concept Self Propelled Electronic that he got from me. It's such a magnificent example of an awesome machine. I hope Joe enjoys it in good health. I wish I had been there in person to give it to him.

all sorts of vacuume were played with, given, used, sold,

gottahaveahoove's profile picture
traded, repaired, etc.
WE found that laundry crystals are great for getting scents out of vacuums. "Spa tip".

Tom

he absolutely loves it, and will be using it quite often, it is indeed a wonderful example of a great machine.

Kenny, you are welcome! Sam is a wonderful host and everyone had a great time. his house was very cute and comfortable, and his collection is very nice and well put together as he is very happy with what he has. This weekend I brought him his all original early Citation that he purchased from Robert Coonradt who was in attendance at the meet. I do wish I had gotten some more pics.

John requested for me to bring my Holiday so I did. It was a great way to celebrate the holidays while using the Holiday! Wouldn't you say so John?

Your Holiday is so cool. Very rare machine. From what I understand, it was sold in retail stores along with the floor polisher and the iron. You'll have to show it to me in person when we get together for Greg P.'s Mini Meet next year. It's a long drive but I'm so looking forward to seeing y'all again. I can't wait to visit New York and of course I have several great friends I'll stop to see in Pennsylvania. I have to stop and see John, my Hoover expert. John G., of course. For sure I want to meet Joe in person, and would LOVE to meet Sam. I have so many printed items for his newletter to share with him.

Between Joe's house and Sam's,

We can 'retire' the palace

Joe,

gottahaveahoove's profile picture
So will you be keeping the 2 of them? Do you now have no interest in the one I got for you in North Canton? Just curious.
Thanks,
Now, Joe, we can go to the Fall (Halloween) meet at your place, and the Christmas one at Sam's. That lower level was very cozy and accommodating for the large crowd.

Oh yes a winter wonderland indeed!!! The mini meet was a great time as always and I cannot wait to see everyone again!

How was New Year’s Eve with Sam? I haven’t talked to him in a couple of days, said he was making an antipasto and rice pudding.
