I know....most of the washing machines have been restored/repainted also. I'm more of a purist....I only paint any collectible if it is so far gone that it doesn't really matter... None of my vacuums/washers have been repainted ....washers may be "enhanced" a little |

I'm the same way. The only things I have "enhanced" were a vintage box fan that had already been painted many years ago(grey to yellow,ugh) and I touched up the logo on my Kirby 514 bag with grey and red sharpies as it was almost gone. It worked very very well.
