Its plastic. The best way I can describe it is the thick plastic disposable plates or even clear disposable silverware. I imagine there super easy to break.
I'd check greatvacs.com or evacuumstore.com. I ordered 2 charcoal filters for my majestic it was $6.50 for filters and $4.50 for shipping. I ordered from goodvac web site. I checked quite a few places and they had best prices by far. Les |

Is a black rubber gasket that sits around the top of the dirt container, then the motor unit sits on top of that. |

I did check e-bay, but passed on the entire dirt container unless it was last chance.
