Hey guys I just recently bought a vacuum cleaner off of a secondhand site called Gumtree,I’m absolutely confused as to what brand of vacuum cleaner this is there’s no nameplate but on the information plate there is a patent number but searching it doesn’t give me any results, all the ports for sucking and blowing are located on the front of the machine

The motor is double cooled by the airflow through the bag Past the motor through the fan then through the motor and out the exhaust

??!!

Just when you think you have seen every shape, style, and type of vacuum--everything that can be done with a circle, square, rectangle or triangle--vacs made of metal, plastic and cardboard--vacs that look like eggs, bullets and rockets--vacs that move on big wheels, small wheels, runners or float on a cushion of air--vacs vertical, horizonal or both--vacs with tail fins, chrome, buttons, lights and whistles--and now this.
WOW!!
Is the round base fixed or swivels as a lazy susan would? Is the wire loop at the bottom rear to rest in vertical position or cord wrap or both?Any other attachments? Is rug nozzle Electrolux?

There may be a clue

on the motor or inside where it's mounted. (?) Does the info plate list amps or wattage, just curious. It does look like someone stuck an Electrolux nozzle on the pipes. How does it sound?

Looking at this again - whoever made it was a fan of the Constellation (I forget what they called it in Europe and AU). The handle and the latches that keep the front on look nearly identical in styling.

"-handle and the latches-"

Yes,and with bumps on lid to protect latches as well as handle serving as foot pedal for switch in the manner of 1939 & 1948 Montgomery Ward deluxe tank vac.
Also has good color styling which was something Hoover was great at.
If you turned a metal 5 gal Shop Vac on its side and mounted motor at bottom you would sort of have a primitive version of above ?? vac.
