It was a prize awarded to the top Electrolux dealers in America in 1994. less than 500 made, who knows how many are still surviving. There should be a plaque on top with the salesman's name who won it. Very cool cleaner, whoever owned it had no idea of what they had and should have never let it get that damaged! |

I really like that black trim. Very formal. Need to put a bowtie on it. :) |

What an amazing find! You have inadvertently stumbled across what many Electrolux collectors consider the “holy grail” of Electrolux vacuum cleaners. The UltraLux Commemorative Edition! They only ever made 500 of them back in the early 90’s, so you can imagine not too many exist today. As others have said, they were never sold to the general public, but were instead awards given to top ranking salesmen and branch managers with the company. I have been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to own two of these beautiful machines. One was a special VIP award to Gary Griffin, former CEO of Electrolux (sadly passed from last I’ve heard); and the other is an unawarded machine that used to belong to Tom Gasko at the Vacuum Cleaner Museum in St. James, Missouri. Enjoy your find! It’s a fantastic machine!
