Those were just to the OK side of mediocre, but the bagged versions are infinitely better than the bagless one!

Hey George,

I Loved this vacuum but the two I owned were Eureka vacuums but the exact same vacuum.

One was Burgundy and the other was Green.. I don’t remember if mine were a World Vac, The Boss or an Enviro Vac.. but I loved them both and wish I still had them.

Thanks for sharing your memory that gave me a great memory of one of my favorites too.

I got some pictures online, but couldn’t find the exact one of mine, I don’t remember my Burgundy one having the two tone (Lighter Burgundy) Bag Door and handle.

Anyhow, I hope you find one to buy so you can recapture your favorite youth vacuum. Best of luck.

Patrick

My parents had a Boss World Vac when I was a kid too. It was definitely not a vacuum that messed around. If we left it run too long it would blow the circuit breaker. It was super loud and it cleaned good though. I think the motor blew up on it in the 2000's, and we got a Kirby after that.

These always seemed cheap and kinda crappy to me. Definitely liked the later "G2" SmartVacs better.
