Sometimes I would take my Eureka Turbo Tool and put it on my Dynamite Plus. I tried several methods to put some kind of holder for the turbine tool on the Dynamite plus. All of which worked badly. I wonder if mini uprights of other brands could do the same with the turbo tools of their brand.

The Whirlwind Lite is one of my dream machines too. The silver one is the one I would want to have.

I've seen one of those before. Passed on it because cheap plastic. I know Sanitaire made a newer version of them up until recently.

Those turbo tools really never work at all, it's just a gimmick. I never could get one to actually work properly.

I always wanted to try an Electrolux Little Lux and see how that does.

Because they're crap and not REAL Electroluxes. Every single Eureka I've had has been awful. Also, calling me a jerk is childish. Eureka dropped off in quality after the 1980s. The old ESP style uprights were nice, though. Can't deny that. Also, the SmartVac was a decent machine for a Walmart plastic vacuum. All of the other ones are crap. Eureka isn't even on the CRI's recommended vacuums, while both Kirby and Aerus are highly rated.

The mods aren't gonna do anything. I didn't call you any offensive names, so nothing will happen to me. We regularly bash the plasticrap Walmart vacuums on here, and rightly so. I've said it before and will say it again. New Eureka is crap. Besides, they're far from the quality and power of a REAL Aerus Electrolux. If you are not mature enough to handle criticism, then Vacuumland may not be the right spot for you.

Let's talk about...

Mature, Shall we Aidn?
For starters I/WE think you need to chill out with the "Authority power trip". you are 16, he is 15, "kids/teens" your age tend to like a lot of the newer stuff and some of them are new to the world of collecting, for you to get on his case about EVERYTHING he posts is completely absurd. You like what you like, he likes what he likes. A lot of younger members/collectors have no idea what is outside of the 2000s and therefore will in time explore what the world has to offer regarding vintage and contemporary, By the looks of it, he is starting to collect and explore what he likes and let's be honest here... Don't you like your Bissells that are in your collection? I believe they were walmart/ big box vacs and if im not mistaken, you have it in your profile that your mother owns a shark, isn't that Walmart plasticrap too? here's some advice... I am sure that I speak for a lot of people here when I say this but, really take a chill pill, step off of the high horse (we don't want you to fall) and let new members do their thing. If it becomes an issue I am positive that Robert will take care of it as he is usually responsive to these things. If need be I am sure there are a lot of people (older members) who can guide (EurekaFan) into the right direction in a more Mature and helpful way rather than belittle everything he says or does. We are all collectors here and all are here to offer helpful advice to others seeking it.

Just a small FYI as well...
Aerus and Electrolux are Different entities, even the old Electrolux before the Aerus buyout was a different Entity. Electrolux Sweden was Before Electrolux USA and as a matter of fact before Production was brought into the USA Electrolux was imported into the USA from Sweden. here is another thing you may or may not know. Before Aerus COMPLETELY changed the website, there was a Video that ran about 30 min in the history section that explained EVERYTHING about electrolux and how it evolved and its no longer there. Aerus and Electrolux vacuums may be great machines and I have ALOT of electrolux machines (No Aerus), but maybe (EurekaFan) isn't aware of this history and he should kindly be made aware of some of the things that he doesn't know so that he can begin to know what to look for and explore within his travels. Some of these things will greatly broaden his knowledge.

As for EurekaFanSquid

Welcome to VacuumLand, I do hope that you find all of the information that you seek and I do hope that you find what you are looking for when it comes to your dream machines. Just be calm and patient when waiting for responses and when other people aren't positive, just brush it off and move on to the next topic. There are ALOT of knowledgeable people here who can and will help you. Granted Eureka is/was a great company and there's a lot more than the new stuff to be desired. Some of my favorites were and were not the Top of the line machines such as the Victory Line, vintage "canned ham" machines and the F&G uprights that do and do not feature cord reels and/or self propel.

Nice way to put it. I don't really care at all for my Bissells, I just keep 'em around for kicks and giggles. As far as my mother's Shark goes, I don't like it, so I don't use it. I use my Electrolux LE on my carpets. I wouldn't trust a new Eureka on my carpet.I would, however, trust an older style machines on my carpet. I actually saw a canned ham up in Ohio for $20 bucks in excellent shape, but I had to pass on it. As far as the Aerus/Electrolux thing, I consider Aerus to just be a rename of Electrolux USA. Same company, different name. I do know that Electrolux USA and Electrolux Sweden were once the same entity, but that kinda fell apart after the Model 30 was introduced and the Old Greenwich plant opened up. I did know that all machines prior to the XIIA were imports. I may not know everything, nor do I claim to, but I know my fair share about Lux. Anyways, I think I'm done here. I don't really feel like getting into a pissing contest over the internet over vacuum cleaners.

You do realize you are talking to A minor. I'd prefer he stop calling everything plastic crap. I know people have different views. I like the eurekas and plastic vacs. The dirt devil vacuums would be considered plastic crap but Kirby kid likes those. I just like some eureka vacuums. I look at there pet version vac for $120 or so. It was a well made vac I'd love to own.
Kirby kid has to realize with being an adult not everyone can afford a high end vacuum.
So now everyone is enlightened stop this word spat.
Les

I only like the old Dirt Devil hand vacs. I could care less about new Dirt Devils. Also, I forgot to clarify, I hate BAGLESS PLASTICRAP just as much as everyone else does. I think some of the low end bagged uprights (PowerForce, FeatherLite, Etc.) are just fine for people on a budget. They may not be the BEST thing, but I understand that not everyone can afford a nice vacuum. Also, what happened to USED vacuums? I DEFINITELY can't afford a new Kirby or Aerus machine, so I buy used. I also don't have any issues with Midea Eureka yet. Just the Swedish Eurekalux. I hope to come across a Midea machine for cheap or even free, so I can put it through it's paces and return a verdict on them. They certainly seem to be made better than the old Eurekalux models, SAVE for the SmartVac and 1934B.
