They've hit the shitter in recent years. It happened around 2000, with the exception of the SmartVac, Boss 1934B, and Mighty Mite.

They still make great vacuums, some are hit and miss.

The Eureka Brushroll Clean is a great vacuum. I got it on rollback and at that price especially it was a great deal, and still running today. In 2017 at one point it was being run for 30m-1hr at a time, vacuuming out cupboards and under cabinets and really deep-cleaning the kitchen.

I need to get the Quick-Up stick vac still.

I HATED the AirSpeed line. Cheap dustblowing junk is all it was. I have yet to try the Midea machines. I will try one before trash talking it.

Never tried one, but it looks really cool. Yeah, Airspeeds are horrible. I had one of the Midea ones (MOL) and it was "eh". It had a slightly better build quality than the previous one, but it was not a very good machine.

That's really cool that you like Eureka too. I grew up with them as my 2nd favorite vacuum company of all time.

Eureka hasn't made a great vacuum since 1995, save for the 2nd gen SmartVac.

My New Eureka AS3451 Ultimate Clean Pet

Hi EurekaFanSquid

I am a fan of Eureka too and have owned quite a few in my time!

I thought you might like to see pics of my Eureka I picked up at Walmart last year and it’s been a really nice vacuum. Lots of features and cleans well. I don’t use it every day as I prefer a bagged vacuum for daily cleaning and get out my Bagless vacuums to “Play” every so often! Lol

So even though it’s current and not vintage, I hope no one minds me sharing here.

Good luck on your collecting and have fun!

Patrick
