Is this a Patriot vacuum? I don't recognize it. Any idea of what year it might have been made in?

If it's for sale and a reasonable price go for it. It's got the most airflow of any (regular) canister i've measured so far. It's a little on the loud side but eh no machine is perfect.

I use mine to clean my store. My pal Ryan in Colorado got it from a thrift store for $15. He asked everybody in our vacuum cleaner collectors group if anyone wanted it, and I put my hand up. I love it. The S shaped extension Wands make using that power nozzle very easy.

sold today, I went there today to make a low ball offer....but the last day of the estate sale is usually 50% off...and this was....sold before I got there ( I delayed my arrival in hopes that it hadn't sold and they would 'deal')...sold for $75. Its okay, I was only interested in it for a really cheap price as I'm mainly an upright guy....but have 5 canisters already!!!

Good grief!!!!!For THAT price you could buy 2 NEW NSS M1 vacuums with attachments!!!!The Patriot is a nice high quality vacuum -But NOT worth that price!!!The person setting prices has been inhaling too much dust that vacuum picked up! |

NO WAY would I pay that kind of money for a TriStar knockoff! I could buy 2 TOL Miele C3 Brilliant canisters with MORE features, better bags, better quality HEPA filtration system & has just as much suction & airflow & cleans just as well. Even the Aerus Guardian Platinum would be a better choice than that Patriot!

If this thing is aimed at the industrial market - this is why they jacked the price up. A business can afford it even if Joe Schmoe cannot. I would wager this is sold in catalogs or by pamphlets given out in janitorial meetings. A good cleaning company would clear $4 grand in one day more than likely, pennies to them.
A lot of stuff sold in business catalogs is stupidly priced, but I think businesses go for that "the more it costs the company the better it will be" thing. |

If the Patriot was aimed for a commercial market-----the NSS M1 would be the BETTER buy by far!!!!A business would not likely Buy a vacuum such as that-and bear in mind many businesses contract their cleaning. |

It's suggested retail price. They sell usually 1200-2000 exact pricing for a kirby door to door. If some idiot overpays for the vacuum that's his fault. The pig vacuums run $1800-$2200 so not 2 pigs or 2 Kirby's if we're going for suggested retail price. It makes consumer feel good they got a deal at $1500. I'd love one of those. The person who left TriStar and formed company builds better vacuums than tristars. You have to give credit one of only a few vacuums made in USA.

If I guessed pre c6 compacts it would be similar I'd give edge to compact. If you are later up to 1990 compact would own Electrolux. Patriot id pick over TriStar. I say this just research the person who defected and started selling Patriot vacuums. I like the design and emphasize on using space craft material like internal engineering Corp did.
The pigs use straight air machine. They use cyclonic which even bag being full doesn't big machine for. Les |

And just about any backpack vacuum out there would be another better buy over the Patriot-face it the Patriot is a home vacuum with an inflated price! |

Not to get too far off topic but being overpriced could be said about any door to door brand. The P3 is a very strong vacuum spec wise. I've yet to perform sand pickup testing, yet, but I feel it will probably do well. It does have more airflow at the cleaner head than any canister tested yet. which is odd considering the FS6 backpack has more raw flow but the Et-1 must be have a more efficient air path than the EBK-340C

Hi everybody, glad to see a few people know the Patriot. I know this post is a year old, just checking in. If anyone needs any Patriot parts or supplies; feel free to let me know.
They last a long time and have great suction; as well as warranties. We are on the P4 Purple series now. This includes models with or without the new service mode and maintenance system - which includes the full color display. Models without this display are similar to previous units where you change the filters after set intervals instead of the machine giving you an indication of when filters needs to be replaced. I have a bit of info and history on the Patriot on my site if anyone is curious. I'm based out of Southern Illinois, Eastern Missouri if anyone needs further help. Kyle p.s. the graphics are still showing the older P3 Blue colors as of the change over last year. CLICK HERE TO GO TO cleanairhybrid's LINK |

Is blocked by admin or not working.
I have the 2007 red and white model. The power nozzle on mine is wessell werk ebk 340. The thermal reset switch is a pain in my butt. I had the two wands for the power nozzle and they wouldn't come apart. I got them apart and where they were stuck together it created a large clog almost. I cleaned out the hose completely free of debri. I also cleaned the buildup by the brush roll. I'm about ready to put it on eBay I just need to find the attachment caddy. It just doesn't feel right using it. Les |

My Fault, Someone was kind enough to correct me and let me know the link wasn't working.
Hopefully it is now! We have a choice between the Wessel EBK 360 or the Sebo ET-1, depending on what the customer prefers. I like the ET-1 for most jobs. Those red machines are still pretty good. I hope you get a good auction price! Kyle CLICK HERE TO GO TO cleanairhybrid's LINK
