Sam, in order to get the Factory Rebuild done for the 37.50, you HAVE TO have proof of ownership, namely the page from the Owners Manual that shows the model number, serial number, date of purchase, and the dealers signature. You CAN have a factory rebuild done without proof of ownership, BUT it will cost MUCH more than 37.50,,,,sorry to say. The ONLY way you can get a rebuild for the price stated in the Owners Manual is to have actual proof of ownership. Call the Rebuild Department, ask for Kathleen LaBant, and ask her what it will cost, as it varies by model. You also will have to pay the shipping to and from the factory in Cleveland OH. If you get onto the Kirby Company's website, it gives the Rebuild Dept. info and phone number there. Hope this helps you. | ||
