Christine,
I havent seen a vacuum cleaner cozy for years last one I saw for sale was in a fingerhut catalog and I havent got that catalog for almost 10 years. The only person I knew who had one was a friends mother who had a pink rabbit vacuum cozy on her Hoover Concept in their living room next to the tv.

John,
i agree with you I proudly display my 2 Convertibles, my one concept, and my Elite from the Hoover vault and my kirby G6 2000 edition. The rest I keep in the closet because they are fairly gouged and scuffed up and my one concept had a few holes worn in the bag which were repaired, they stay in closets because they are not as nice to look at. Unfortunaltely most people think of them as just a vacuum and keep them hidden away now. i remember my great grandmother always kept her Kirby and the attachment caddy next to the console tv in her living room, as she was proud to have it and wanted people to see she had good taste, unfortunately people dont think like that now. I assume it is because they buy cheap garbage at Wal-mart and dont take pride in it. Same as small kitchen appliances, every one buys cheap garbage and hides it. grandma has her Chrome Cory Coffee Percolator, Chrome mixmaster model 12 and her Chrome general Mills toaster proudly displayed on the counters because at one time people liked to show their good taste in appliances to their friends and now everyone is probably ashamed on the cheap plastic junk they buy.

How about for those chiily nights
I cover them sometimes
the ones I have in the water heater room

Saves them from dust

Good say if you are painting or something
sometimes the fine particles make a mist on the vacs if they are nearby

It's nice if you have kids

Just saw it & thought it cute

Christine,
I do agree it is cute but if I were to cover all of my vacuums as they are all uprights except for a filterqueen I would have a village of little doll people in my gameroom and the ones I have out get used every day at least once and I would probably get tired of covering and uncovering which is why they stay out because I get tired of pulling them out of the closet .I always did like the cozy on my friends mothers concept and it fit in perfectly with the decor of her room where as a brown hoover concept would not. I dont think they make cozies anymore. Seeing that reminded me of an episode of mama's family(which is my favorite show) when Iola made a toy soilder Vacuum cozy for Mama for christmas to decorate her convertible. If I could find seasonal christmas vacuum cozies I would love to have them to add more to my already over the top christmas collection and display. Let me know if you find any christmas ones.

I'd get at least one cozy and alternate where it would go. I wonder if they made a J. Edgar Hoover cozy? Mom kept her Concept One in the spare bedroom, next to a love seat, nothing on it. The Mighty Mite stayed in the hall closet.
