I can't seem to find any pictures of these on Google Images. If anyone has an Aerus/Electrolux CentraLux central vacuum system, could you please post pictures of what your inlet valves look like. Specifically, if they say Electrolux on them.

There seems to be very little information on Electrolux (pre-Aerus) central vacuums. I have never seen a photo of the tool kits prior to the gas pump style hose and plastic wands. When did Electrolux start offering central vacuums? Was the hose vinyl or was it the woven material like the Silverado?

Several of my neighbors have and has had an Electrolux installed in their homes with the Electrolux branded inlet valves. I don't have any pictures but there is a video online of one that does.

When I moved into my first home in 1988, there was a Beam central vac but I wanted to use my Electrolux tools, wand and power nozzle so I purchased the central vac hose from the Electrolux dealer. It was the vinyl type with the pistol grip handle.

Thanks for the info countryguy. I love the classic Electrolux attachments too. Do you think it would be possible to buy a centralux hose and put the Lux Classic pistol grip handle on it?

I'm not really sure...I'm not familiar with how the hose connects to the handle.

It's been about 6 years, but I have a pistol grip hose that I special ordered from Aerus.  Wasn't cheap!
