~ A friend who was moving gave me this Royal Model 2075. I've never been particularly interested in Royal uprights because they seem kinda ugly to me -- too industrial-looking. |

Ugly? Nah. It's lovely.
I wish we had Royal vacs here in the UK. I know what you mean by "Industrial Looking", but that's their appeal. They have that 'Made for purpose' look. Not that modern encase-it-in-platic, ergonomic, rectangular design. Also on the plus side, like the Kirbys, they're built to last, perform very well, and they're cheap to buy secondhand. What's not to like? 😁 |

I'm waiting for my model 2028 fan and brushroll to come.
I have housing off to change the fan. I washed the bag. It's fading a little bit but very solid material and it has type b bag setup. I have a 300 watt royal 3 400 watt royals 2 4.5 amp royals, a 6 amp,a 7 amp this and another 7.5 amp. I have a 8.5 backpack vacuum, and the granddaddy of them all 10.5 and screamer. I have an abundance of royal prince handvacs. Les |

I thing it looks quite nice, but I hope you really grow to appreciate it. It's got superb airflow and this dirt/dust removing capabilities and it's very durable.
