I picked this up a few months ago from a junk shop. It is rusty, The motor is shot ( it blew sparks out the exhaust and smelled of smoke) and the cord was rotting. It is a model AVT 173. Will a motor out of a swivel top fit it? It kind of reminds me of a model 815, but in a dark green instead of brown and it has a bag button instead of a latch. Does anyone have any info on it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Unfortunately all i got was a set of white bojack attachements and hose. I did get the hose end that goes into the machine, although the rubber seal is falling off and missing a chunk.
As for the motor, it would be nice to have the original in it, so i will take it to an expert so it can be inspected, just in case it only needs parts . How can I take the back part off so i can take the motor out? Is it like the bag door, which has friction clips? ~K |

Just thought you might like to see what the original attachments were like. I made a copy of the accessory kit for a friend once. While it turned out very nicely it was a very difficult build.
