It was intended to promote the high-end, top-of-the-range, expensive Hoovers only. You needed to spend a minimum amount to qualify for Free-Flights.
The vacuum shop I was browsing at that time, said they'd add whatever amount I needed to the listed Retail Price of any model, so I'd qualify for free flights. People already intending to fly to America on holiday, were snapping-up Hoovers, saving a fortune on flights they already wanted, and getting a new Hoover, or six! | ||
