A Roomba? Why bother? Are these really worth anything? I guess I could get one to entertain my cats! Louis |

I don't think they would take the place of a regular vacuum at any point, but they have to be good for in betweens, and of course the cats:

I'd be scared that the cat's tail would get jammed in those counter-rotating sweeper/beater brushes. |

I can see where they would be handy for an elderly or disabled person living in a small house or apartment. And if a person had a pet hair problem. Its too bad that the general public thinks its a vacuum cleaner,,,they have no idea that its just a glorified carpet sweeper. The last time i walked thru my local Sears store, i stopped to look at the Roomba's, and asked the salesman if they did a good job "Vacuuming",(just to see what he would say),,he said they were an awsome "Vacuum Cleaner". HAHA,,,OK,,,sell baby sell! |
