I just discovered this minor issue with my Dyson DC07 Animal, which is 11 1/2 years old now.

This Dyson, for the most part, has been relegated to a garage vacuum for cleaning up a play area for two of my dogs, who both shed a lot. I vacuumed that area like normal, and the vacuum still ran beautifully.

But later, I was using the turbo brush to clean their beds, and after I was done cleaning, I found a hole in the hose near the cuff. I'm not surprised this occurred, considering the age of the vacuum. I should note that the hose cuff goes up into the wand while in storage, so pulling the hose out of the wand to use the attachments puts extra stress on the hose.

I tried looking online for a new hose, but I can't find a genuine one anywhere! They're all either generic or are the wrong color for this Dyson.

If I can't find the right color hose, I could just tape up the hole or come up with another way of fixing the hose.

Where can I find a genuine hose for my Dyson?

Dyson have stopped making parts in multiple colours for older machines like this.... a lot of parts are now just made in one generic colour. So you may have to settle for a genuine hose that is of a different colour.
