I just saw a banner on EZ vacuum.com  "Introducing the Titan Vacuum"

Looking at them they have a smell of a Tacony product.  Anyone know who makes the Titan?

I would bet it’s an ESSCO product looks similar to the Cirrus line of machines.

Aren't the Cirrus vacuums made by Tacony?

Edit:

Sorry, I was thinking Carpet Pro.  They still look similar.

The uprights are made by Tacony. They are the same models back when they were still sold under as the Fuller Brush. The canisters are made by Cleva, the same manufacture that produces Kenmore vacuums today.

Thanks

Confirmed my suspicion

Titan is a nice vacuum...

Titan vacuums are Steel City Vacuums (From the Pittsburgh area) exclusive product line. I have used one previously....seems like a nice product.

Alex - Right on the money. The uprights are rebadged Fuller Brush / Carpet Pro uprights made by Tacony in China, & the canisters are made by Cleva & are former Kenmore designs. One important change the Titan canisters made in the design though is they changed the Kenmore EF1 cardboard framed HEPA filter to the same ones the new Kenmore 600 Series uses, the plastic framed Kenmore EF11 HEPA filter. So, since the motor sits in it's own plastic bucket inside the vacuum to direct airflow entirely to the HEPA filter, that would make the Titan canisters sealed HEPA system canisters. Pretty good considering the TOL version with the Ultra Plush PN can be had for just under $500.

Never could understand

why Kenmore never sealed their canisters. I wonder if they re-designed that awful collar?

Titan uprights stink like tacony. I love Steel City as a supplier, and I have sold a few Titan Canisters, which really are great. People who like canisters really like Titan's. I don't carry Miele since you must have a large ($3500) opening order to become a dealer (according to the Miele rep who came to see me). So Titan canisters and Electrolux are my 'go to' machines.
