~ I decided to clean the hallway rug. I was planning to rent a Rug Doctor machine, but when I went to the vac shop the owner convinced me to try the Host dry cleaning system.
I'd heard of the Host system but had never used one. Well, it is AMAZING. It's very easy to use. After just one treatment our carpet looks brand new.
Our home smells refreshed with a light, clean natural scent instead of heavy with cloying perfumes and toxic chemicals.
The last time I cleaned rugs in here I used the Kirby Rug Renovator. What a joke that was. Putting it together was complicated, using it was real chore because the Kirby is so heavy, and it just made a big mess.

I have seen those for sale but they are pricey. You know rug doctors are no longer good. You have an elite vacuum collection. could give advice but you already know alot more than me. I have a Bissell proheat it works well. I wouldn't dare vacuum like you did. My Bissell is carpet shampooer not a steam cleaner for wall to wall use.
