I just bought this deep fryer and I’m wondering how old it is, so I tried to look it up.
I can find nothing like it, or any company called General Deluxe even.
I find this strange. The interwebs see all and know all.
Is my fryer from another dimension?
Any thoughts?

Its manufacturer is Automatic Electric. The model is general deluxe frier cooker.
Im guessing by what I found it's a manufacturer of restaurant commercial equipment. They seem to be everywhere on website I found.

Hey

I looked and you searched no results. I noticed automatic electric in background could be the name. I just figured you didn't find anything. General deluxe fryer cooker didn't sound like a business but a model. Typed in automatic electric general deluxe fryer and that sight popped up.
Glad to help you out. You got a commercial fryer very nice score.
Les

Back in the 50s

There were many small "Off brands" around, these were small companies that made appliances etc, this is probably one of them, others that come to mind are Alcamatic, Hollywood Deep Fry, etc

My phone is Google pixel 3xl no magic fingers need just squeeze and Google uses it intelligence. I asked Google if it could eff itself and it says it doesn't know how to answer that. I said by explaining the method and it stated it wasn't possible.
I may not be smart but my Google has artificial intelligence.
Off to the river with my water proof shoes and socks. It could be water resistant I don't know.
