I noticed they've reduced the price from $325 to $199. So I wonder if it's being discontinued.
I'm thinking these canister style carpet cleaner/vacuums don't sell very well because most people seem to use the upright style. I believe this is the only version we get in the United States, the tub style carpet cleaner/vacuums seem more popular in Europe and the UK than here. Summer sales usually bring big discounts because they overstock the warehouse for the "spring cleaners". A lot of people start shampooing in spring (me included), and it's usually when they find their shampooer they stored last year has broken due to improper storage or from the weather, or they just want to get a new one. Once the sales lop off after the spring rush, they start cutting down the price.
I see shampooer ads being pushed heavily in store ads in March-May then after that I hardly see them. | ||
