Since 99% of the users here are having no issues connecting to the site, I decided to take a look at how rodknock95 and dysonman1 are connecting to the site. What is interesting is the key link I see between both of you guys is your Internet Provide seems to be "Fidelity Communication". I suspect Fidelity is having issues with their DNS server at times, you may try calling their technical support number when this happens and let them know that only the Fidelity customers are having trouble connecting to Vacuumland.

So frustrating. Vacuumland is the only website this happens to for me.

It’s very sporadic, and only seems to happen when I’m connected to our WiFi at home. I’m using Safari for a browser, but the minute I switch from WiFi to 5Ge, it comes right up. Again, not happening all the time (on WiFi now with no problems), but I have received this message multiple times since switching to the new server.

It's definitely the DNS server of your internet provider that is causing this issue, their DNS server is not updating fast enough. When you switch off the router and use the cell-tower connection it uses a different DNS server that's why it's usually working from cell service.
Question, when you guys are receiving this message, can you connect to automaticwasher.org and automatice.org? The reason I ask is they all are on the same server. No one on aw.org has reported this to me. One temporary fix (but sort of technical) would be to edit your system's hosts file to point directly to the Vacuumland IP address. You edit your hosts file and add the following line to the bottom and save: 162.241.136.124 vacuumland.org However to change your hosts file you have to start notepad "as administrator". The link below has instructions on how to do this depending on what system you are using... CLICK HERE TO GO TO Unimatic1140's LINK This post was last edited 06/19/2019 at 09:27 |
