I was browsing etsy and i saw this thing. What is it? it kind of looks cobjobbed but there are definitely hand vac parts on it.

I also saw this Lark which, while in bad shape, may be good for parts for someone.

The first handvac looks like a 1930s premier deluxe brand.
The lark I'm guessing is late 40s early 50s.

I just bought that first hand vac. I actually had it bookmarked from when this was posted and forgot all about it. The listing was still online and it was on sale with the sale ending in less than an hour when I bought it, so I said what the heck and got it. It was less than the cost of a pizza. I am very curious and excited to see what it is as well!

Yes, Etsy is mostly an arts and crafts hobby website, the last place in the world I'd ever expect to find vacuums on, but sometimes they pop up there.

It's interesting how the vacuum fan case / nozzle is made of two castings sandwiched together.

Cool, let me know how it turns out!

To see the whole lark, click the "item details" tab. It should show the first pic, along with a small menu of the others. It is the red model with the bag off the blue one. It unfortunately has been sold though.
