Hi All

I have posted an ad in the "Supermarket" Section, but in case it doesnt get notice much there...

I am in the UK and I am in urgent need for a hose for an Electrolux Z345 cylinder cleaner. I understand that any hose from a Z300 range of similar cleaners would fit ok. It doesnt HAVE to be an original fabric covered hose ! I would be happy with a generic replacement.

If anyone can help, please contact me.

Thanks
Derek

Derek,

Go to Doug Smith's website, smithcollection.altervista.org/ , for his contact information. He may either have a hose for you or be able to connect you with someone who does.

Let us know how it turns out. I wish you well.

I once had a Z345 that I bought from eBay UK: sadly, it succumbed to water damage in my basement a few years ago. I might still have the hose for it, however. I will look later today and will let you know.

If you need a hose bad enough you would pay shipping. I wish you luck. I don't think you need the hose or you could have it. I believe you want one. I wish you luck either needing or wanting it comes through and you get the hose.

My name is not Paul ...

... it’s Bill. I do realize tthat you are in the UK. Also, I had a very busy day today and didn’t get the time to look for it. Will try again later today. However, if this is any guide I routinely have items shipped to me from over there (from Dover, Kent CT17 9NZ to be exact) and the ParcelForce rates aren’t terrible. More later.

If you just want a generic replacement click the link - this should do it for £13.92 postage included. It would be cheaper to buy a used cleaner just to get the hose rather than have Doug ship you one, even if he had a spare.

Hi Vacbear

Thanks for the advice. As much as I would like a 345 hose or one that fits, I realisticly wouldnt have spent the sort of money on one to be shipped from the USA as you say !

I would love to try your link to the one you mention, but as of today (2 days after you posted your message) the link doesnt work !

Thanks
Derek

My 345 Automatic has a scrap hose too. Amazingly still holds some air but both ends are ripped to shreds internally. It was a free vacuum though so can't complain too much.

Just get A N other 3 lug hose to get it useable! I have a Lux Slimline hose I'll use on mine

Sorry about that Derek, I just tried it myself and it did not work.

Try searching on ebay for:

Nedis Vacuum Cleaner Hose Pipe with Bent End for Electrolux 32mm

Thats the one I was looking at and also I will try the link again
