Universal made a variety of vacuums during their time in business. They were responsible for the popular “Jet 99” canister and its “sister”, the Atlas ElDorado: they also had an upright that I could swear was the basis of the “Anser” upright as well as at least one or two other canister models. IIRC, some of their earliest machines were straight suction uprights similar to the early Eurekas. I also seem to recall a floor polisher or carpet shampooer with their name on it.
I have a couple (two? three?) of their Coffematic percolators as well, and one of their combination waffle iron/sandwich grills. They were wonderful, well-made products. Bill W. |
