Just for fun I tried finding that singer

vacuum cleaner in an old '92 Best Mdse. catalog. The closest (but no cigar) was model #SST4601 at 6.5 amps 7pc. attachments and headlight, and 8 height adjustments,99.95 This was the beginning of the great horsepower race most were involved in ending with 12 amps. At this time none of the vacuums listed here (21),except the upright Electrolux, had motors above 8.5. Most in the 6-7 amp range. Just for fun. The one your looking at looks to be in good shape!
