Once again, I'm highlighting a stranger's eBay auction listing a hard-to-find Aerus (Electrolux) item: an upright caddy set, which includes an 'upper caddy' that attaches to the handle (front side holds small combo tool and back side holds the hose's mid-section), the 'lower caddy' that attaches to the back side (which holds the wand sections and the hose's lower section), and the wire hose end retainer that fits into the bulk head.

From what I can tell the upright caddy set was introduced with the Discovery Plus (a Discovery II with the onboard tool holders) around 1987. Apparently, the item was not well-liked by customers, because of the added tool weight and the increased difficulty in cleaning under beds and other low setting furniture. So it was only made for a short time in two colors: the light sand gray ones were for the household uprights: the Discovery and Genesis direct sales cleaners, and the Regency Series, Special Edition, & Advantage Series direct marketing cleaners, and the storm gray ones for the industrial Prolux (with 40' cord). By the time the Epic 3500 SR was launched in 1993 Electrolux offered a separate carrying caddy; although the storm gray ones were made a few more years to accommodate the preference of Prolux customers and as an option on the gray Epic 2500SR or Epic 3500SR. There was also a storm gray version made for the commercial cleaners (with 50' cord & ProTeam hand grip and power nozzle) designed with one wand holder due to the placement of the power switch on the back side).

Anyway, for someone like me who desires the convenience of onboard tools on her/his Aerus (Electrolux) upright and doesn't mind the added weight of onboard tools here's the link to the auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Electrolux-Tool...
