there was a complete CA that sold on ebay for only 175$ fairly recently and it had the hose and powerhead. may want to adjust your asking price without proper tools to use it.

Very cool! Would love to have one, but way over my budget! Also, is that crevice tool made of wood or is that paint?

It's not a bad price. Those are rare units!

CA

Possibly the finest commercial vac ever!In many ways think of it as a giant Mo G.I noticed the above CA and the recent one on EBay from thehenrycompany have no cord hooks. Both of mine have the same type cord hooks as found on the B-8 on side of handle.Does anyone know of other possible changes?
Neither one had all the unique to CA attachments. They had a longer hose,2 wands with latch at top and Power Nozzle 1 hung on back of tool storage bin.The wider rug and floor tools were available to any Elux customer.Other atts were same as G or L.Most standard hoses and atts from any era will work fine. The above crevice tool is fibre from mo XXX/LX.(The wet pick up tank & atts were optional and beyond RARE.)
Value to a collector can depend on rarity and condition. They and the Mo T seem to be the rarest post war Eluxes. The above picture of the bag compartment is worth the proverbial 1000 words showing a well cared for vac.

Mine has no cord hooks

But it does have the 10 foot hose, and the extra long hose cord for the power nozzle.

Tom, your CA is a beauty, if you ever want to sell it let me know. I was interested in this one but he said it is no longer for sale.

LOL those aren't cord hooks. They were made to hold the power nozzle.

"---aren't cord hooks."

They are on the left side of handle when standing behind on both of mine.As above they seem to be the same cord hooks as B-8 with the lower swiveling for quick release. My first from a downtown clothing store had the proper PN and 2 steel wands so it has PN on PN hooks and cord on cord hooks and a later long braided hose that was found with a CB wrapped in storage position on handle above tool storage.
