Although it's listed at a pretty steep price, here's a link to an eBay auction for an Electrolux USA aqua model B-8 triple brush Carpet Beautifier/Floor Polisher & Scrubber. I don't know the seller; just wanted to highlight a hard-to-find item.
Some background ...
Electrolux Corporation introduced its rotary dry-foam carpet cleaning method 60 years ago this year with the Turbo Tool Rug Washer attachment and its Turbo Shampoo. Prior to that area rugs and upholstery were cleaned the Electrolux way with Nuvo Shampoo applied with a sprayer attached to the end of the hose, which in turn was connected to the exhaust port.
The aqua model B-8 triple brush polisher & scrubber succeeded the model aqua B-7 in 1963. The Carpet Beautifier component was added in 1965 as an option; so two manuals were made—one for each function. In the latter part of 1966 the aqua color was replaced with the tan color, so the B-8 in the eBay auction was manufactured only for a year or so. Its shampoo tank with the sparkle graphics was also only used one year (Electrolux figured out that carpets don't sparkle like bare floors, ha).
It should be noted that the B-8's base was updated in 1965, which can most easily be seen in the 'Electrolux' wordmark on the hood. Those made from '63 to early- or mid-1965 had a sans serif wordmark, and the later wordmark used serif letters like the one in the auction. The update included a slight modification of the motor housing and added weight in the base to help it clean more deeply. However, the earlier version was also retrofitted by drilling a hole in the hood for the shampoo tube and adding metal lugs to the handle to keep the shampoo tank secured to it.
Incidentally, after 20 years the B-8 was succeeded by the model B-9 Floor Beautifier, which became the Floor Pro that is currently named Lux Floor Pro.
