Recently I looked for the TriStar website and was not able to find it. Instead I found Aire Jett which looks exactly like the TriStar. They describe themselves as being part of the Aerus family and have Dallas listed as headquarters and Bristol as the manufacturing plant. Searching Aerus Aire Jett one finds the name was trademarked by Aerus Concepts L.P. in 2017.

I wonder why Aerus did this? Who knows why Aerus does anything anymore??

Nope.

There’s no telling what this is all about. I’d ask Tom....Tom G, that is.

This is very strange. I've never heard of AireJett before. It's a new brand name created by Aerus. TriStar operated throughout North America as TriStar. There is no real reason to create a new name.

When tristar split from IEC schoettler research company was founded by a head person at TriStar. He now sales the Patriot vacuum. I believe for a while he kept iec on vacuums.
In Europe a vacuum called vortek force is the same vacuum. I think aerus is selling overseas.
So there are 3 or more vacuum cleaners that bare bones used same body and motor filtration is a little different but they all come from interstate engineering company compact vacuums. I really don't understand how kits possible but it is.
