As many of you know I have repaired and run vacuum Shops for years.
I really have never found a cordless consumer-grade vacuum I liked. Well I'm pleased to announce after over a month of testing. I found what I think is the best cordless vacuum on the US market. The Henry Cordless. It has the most power of any cordless vacuum of tested. It also has a long run time on "High " a full 24 to 30 minutes compared to the Dyson v11s 8 to 12 minutes. That's oval over double the runtime. Plus it comes with two batteries! It also uses a high-flow HEPA bag which addresses the other issue that I have with most cordless vacuums filtration. Also it's using standard inch and a quarter attachments so fitting attachment of your choosing is a possibility without an adapter. I was able to run a carpet turbo tool with it as well which I was quite surprised. I'll be making a few videos on this cordless Henry here's the first of many to come. |

@tolivac
I was told the retail price was "$499" right now. To quote them they're doing a "soft launch" right now with select in-store only retailers.I believe I have one of the first ones brought in the country definitely the first one that wasn't brought in for shows and Demo. I'll send them an email and see what they say maybe I can get you one or put you in contact with somebody who can. I did try a friend's cordless volt with this and it's quite the combination! Stay tuned, there is a Dyson V 11 vs Henry cordless Video still to come. CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacuumdevil's LINK

Henry with the Volt power nozzle is absolutely a winner combination.
Dyson V10/11 vs Henry. There is why the cordless Henry is better: - versatility and convenience - huge capacity - no mess emptying - two 36 Volt battery packs - build quality - standard size tools - a lot of different tools fit to it - quiet - on-board tool storage - more power than any cordless Dyson It would be crazy to choose Dyson over the Henry. |

I absolutely love my Shark ion P50. The main reason I chose it over the Dyson V11 is because the battery is removable and replaceable. It's also a sealed HEPA system and has the duoclean soft rollers which work well on hardwoods. |

I’m thrilled at the idea of a practical, decent, cordless canister with a bag. It’s a great solution to cleaning a car that is always parked far from an electrical outlet. Mind you, some of the power tool companies have started selling cordless shop vacs that would be great car cleaners as well: Ryobi, etc. And these cordless shop vacs might be better for car interiors as they might handle wet debris better from cars in snowy locations.
Still - the idea of whipping around the house daily with a cordless bagged canister sounds great! I do have concerns about the life of those batteries - as we’ve learned, those permanent Dyson batteries don’t last much longer than a few years. |

DeWalt also makes cordless shop vacuums-these are small units that run from DeWalt power tool batteries.I wouldn't consider these to be home type or usual commercial vacuums.The DeWalt ones are made for workshop uses. |

@tolivac You're definitely right with the right batteries that can last quite some time. I have a Bosch screwdriver with lithium-ion batteries that still runs full power from 2010. What you're saying about the ease of changing the batteries is one of the biggest things with any cordless vacuums so many of them you need tools to change them or simply can't be changed. A lot of times with new machines that *SQUAWK" sound is the plastic wearing in on the axle of the wheels. Quite a few machines do it out of the box and can be remediated with a drop of oil. No wood floors were harmed in the making of this video.

I can't recall any Dyson cordless models that DON'T have a removable battery, they're just not convenient to interchange in day-to-day use but they're pretty easy to change if you just need a new battery -- three screws and you're done. |

Henry did SUPURB with all the stuff that was "thooped" into his bag.I have WW carpet-but a suction canister is VERY useful to me.So much easier and better than converting Kirbys or other upright DA vacuums.I don't have pets-just myself makes enough of a mess. |

I honestly don’t think it exists yet. That’s why I had to ask. Their website looks sketchy and only offers a glimpse at the machine without letting you see too much of anything. |
