Can anyone on here tell me what I have here? How old is it? What was the reason for it’s manufacture? Did it accompany a larger machine? Any info would be appreciated.

Here is a guess 1991 it kind of looks like a 501 hand vac similar colored cord. It also could be late 80s they had a commercial vacuum with 5.4 amp motor off white bag. It could be alot older but going on color of cord that's my guess. Pretty sweet looking vacuum.

Its the earliest

Version of the 401 Royal Pony, made in the 40s to early 50s I have the Royal version, The hose is much newer.

It's one of the earliest versions of the Pony Tank. Actually all of the attachments are newer, except for the rug nozzle, which appears to be original. I have the model 701 Special tank, which was made from the mid 50's to early 60's. I sure wish mine looked as nice as yours, but I posted the picture here so you can see what the original attachments looked like, even though I don't have the complete set. I think they were available for folks who couldn't afford the Deluxe model, or just wanted a smaller model.
