Hello.
I own and in love with a Royal 611 Vacuum that I recently acquired but cannot find out what type of disposable bag that goes inside the original gray color outer bag. I have been searching for hours, have bought the wrong bags, and have spoken back and forth with a helpful representative at a large vacuum parts store to no avail. Please Help..

Below are few pictures of the unit. The second pic shows the original gray bag with a chrome outer intake and a black, Oval inner intake where a disposable bag would attach. So, it is oval and it looks original/stock due to the old metal wire around it, although maybe a retrofit?

Plus there are two wooden sticks/dowel rods that I assume go in either end of the outer bag to expand it...although any insight on this as well is greatly appreciated:-)

Jeff

If i remember

It will take Royal type A bags.
Eureka F&G bags will also work.

Jeff,

As Harley (kirbysthebest) said, you want to use the Royal Type A disposable bags. However, you can also use the Eureka/Sanitaire Style F & G disposable bags.

Also, may I ask you what the serial number is for your 611, please?
Example: K83-F-41761, L85H064744.

Thank you,

Ben

Just go with eureka f&g bags they are easy to find quickly. If you have time order type a royal bags from Amazon or Walmart.com those tend to be the cheapest way to go.

If desired you can buy a "B" type outer bag for your Royal. The B bags are easier to install and perform better than the A bags-F&G bags. Many larger vac dealers who carry Royal have the outer bags. You can save the older bag for display.
